How does skill verification actually work?
A student raises a skill up a four-tier ladder: Self (claimed) → Evidence (GitHub repos, a portfolio link, or a certificate, analyzed and mapped to a demand-ranked taxonomy) → Assessed (an auto-graded coding test against hidden test cases) → Endorsed (a faculty/TPO vouch — the highest tier). Each tier carries a confidence score that stacks, and the result is an evidence-backed badge on the student's public Skills Passport. Nothing is self-asserted without proof behind it.
Is there a limit on the number of students?
No. Hyrenora for institutions has no student limit. Whether you have 50 students or 5,000, the platform is fully free.
Do students pay anything?
No. Students enrolled through an institution get free access to all core tools — resume builder, ATS optimizer, skill gap analyzer with learning resources, AI learning paths, job board, campus drives, and placement tracking. AI-intensive features are limited to 10 uses/month on the free tier; students who need more can upgrade individually.
What is the NAAC C5 score estimator?
Hyrenora computes an estimated NAAC Criterion 5 score (Student Support & Progression, out of 30) from your live placement data. It's indicative — actual scoring includes additional criteria — but it gives you a real-time sense of where you stand and how your placement rate compares to NIRF 2024 tier averages.
What is the mock interview scheduler?
TPOs can schedule mock interviews for any student from the institution dashboard. Add a Google Meet link, set panelists, and the student receives an email invite automatically. After the interview, add a 1–10 score and written feedback. The interview coverage % (how many students have had at least one mock) shows on your dashboard.
What are shareable candidate profiles?
TPOs can prepare a recruiter-facing profile for any student — readiness score, competency bars (communication, technical, aptitude, confidence), target role, branch, and placement status. The public link only goes live once the student opts in from their own account; nothing is shared with an employer without their consent. What is the campus jobs board?
