Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Hyrenora ("the Service") is operated by Hyrenora Technologies LLP (LLPIN: ADB-6511), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its registered office at #203, 2nd Floor, SBR CV Towers, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500081 ("Hyrenora", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hyrenora is an AI-powered job search platform that provides resume building and optimisation, ATS scoring, cover letter generation, auto-apply assistance, ghost job detection, an AI Career Consultant, an Interview Simulator, an MCP server for Claude integration, and related features. The Service is available via the web application at hyrenora.com and via the Hyrenora Chrome Extension. It is available to individual job seekers, to universities and institutions through our University plan, and to teams and organisations through our Team plans.

Certain features — including a limited ATS preview scan — are available without an account. Full access requires account registration.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your resume or applications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without written consent
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond our published APIs
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Hyrenora uses artificial intelligence to generate resume content, cover letters, and job-related suggestions. This content is provided as a starting point and may not be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in actual job applications. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content.

The ATS Engine Simulator produces heuristic approximations of how applicant tracking systems may parse your resume. It is NOT based on reverse-engineered code from any ATS vendor and should not be relied upon as a definitive assessment.

5a. Chrome Extension

The Hyrenora Chrome Extension is a separate software component that integrates with the Service. By installing and using the Extension, you agree to these Terms in addition to the Chrome Web Store terms.

The Extension requires broad browser permissions (including access to all URLs) to perform its core functions: detecting job postings, autofilling application forms, and capturing LinkedIn profile data. These permissions are used exclusively for your benefit and only when you actively use the Extension on a relevant page.

  • Autofill is always user-triggered — the Extension does not fill forms automatically without your action
  • You must not use the autofill feature to submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information to employers
  • Some employers' systems may prohibit automated form assistance; you are responsible for complying with the terms of any job application platform you use
  • Vision-based autofill may send a screenshot of the job application page to OpenAI's Vision API as a fallback — see our Privacy Policy for details

5b. Public Profile Sharing

The Service allows you to generate a shareable public link to a version of your resume (/p/[token]). By enabling a public profile link, you acknowledge that anyone with that link can view the resume content you have chosen to share. You can revoke the link at any time from your settings. You are solely responsible for the content you make publicly accessible via this feature.

5c. AI Career Consultant

The AI Career Consultant feature provides AI-generated career guidance, resume advice, and job search strategy. This content is informational only and does not constitute professional career, legal, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated guidance. Conversation history is stored in our systems and subject to our Privacy Policy.

5d. Interview Simulator

The Interview Simulator generates AI-produced interview questions and scores your responses using Anthropic's Claude models. Scores and feedback are provided as informational guidance only and do not reflect the assessment criteria of any specific employer or ATS vendor. Your questions, answers, and scores are stored in our systems and subject to our Privacy Policy.

5e. MCP Server

Hyrenora provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that allows third-party AI clients — including Claude Desktop and Claude.ai — to access your career data via a Bearer token you generate. By generating and sharing an MCP token, you authorise the holder of that token to read and write to your Hyrenora account on your behalf (including searching jobs, reading your profile, tracking applications, and consuming AI-powered tools).

  • Treat your MCP token like a password — do not share it publicly
  • You can revoke your token at any time from Settings → Profile
  • AI-cost tools (answer coaching, ATS scoring) via MCP require a Starter or Pro plan
  • We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party AI clients using your token

5f. Skill Verification & Assessments

Hyrenora offers Verified Skills features that produce evidence-backed confidence scores for skills you claim — through public GitHub repository analysis, portfolio or certificate review, automated coding assessments, and educator endorsements. By using these features you agree that:

  • Verification reflects the evidence you provide and is not a guarantee of competence, employment, or any specific outcome, and is not an accredited credential
  • You will only submit evidence (repositories, portfolios, certificates, and assessment answers) that is genuinely your own; submitting misappropriated, fraudulent, or misrepresented work may result in removal of verified skills and termination of your account
  • Coding assessments execute the code you submit in a sandboxed third-party environment; you must not submit malicious code or attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the assessment system
  • Endorsements reflect the opinion of the issuing educator or institution and do not represent an assessment or warranty by Hyrenora
  • Verified skills you choose to make public (e.g. on your Skills Passport) will be visible to anyone with your profile link until you disable sharing

6. Auto-Apply

The auto-apply feature submits job applications on your behalf using information you provide. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information in your resume, cover letters, and application materials is accurate and truthful. Submitting false or misleading information to employers via the Service may violate applicable law and these Terms. We are not responsible for the outcome of any application submitted on your behalf.

7. Team Accounts

Hyrenora supports team and organisational accounts ("Team plans"). A team admin creates an organisation, invites members, and manages billing centrally. All members of a team share the features included in the team's plan. The admin is responsible for ensuring all team members comply with these Terms.

Team plan features and seat limits are defined at the time of subscription. Adding members beyond the purchased seat limit may require an upgrade. Removing a member from a team revokes their access at the end of the current billing period.

8. Subscription and Billing

Hyrenora offers a permanently free plan and two individual paid tiers — Starter ($14.99/month) and Pro ($24.99/month). Team plans are also available (Team Starter, Team Growth, Team Scale) with per-seat pricing. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial with full Pro feature access; you will not be charged until the trial ends.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your payment card information.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, resumes, job applications, and all associated data from our systems within 30 days. Subscription data required by law (e.g. billing records) is retained for the legally mandated period. Deletion is irreversible — we cannot recover your data after this process completes.

For team accounts, only the team admin may delete the organisation. Deleting a team account removes all member access and organisation data. Individual member accounts are not automatically deleted; members must delete their own accounts separately if desired.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hyrenora and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create (resumes, cover letters) using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN JOB INTERVIEWS OR EMPLOYMENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HYRENORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
