Name, email address, and authentication data provided through Clerk when you register or sign in.
Resume and career data
Resume content, work history, skills, education, and job descriptions you provide for ATS scoring and tailoring.
Usage data
Features used, pages visited, actions taken within the app, and interaction timestamps.
Payment information
Billing plan and subscription status. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored by us.
Technical data
IP address, browser type, device information, and error logs collected for security and debugging.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To personalize AI-generated content to your career profile
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts, re-activation reminders)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your resume content to train AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third-party providers to operate the Service:
OpenAI processes your resume and job description text to generate AI responses. OpenAI does not use this data to train models when accessed via their API. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you

- Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact us immediately.
