Is there a free trial?

Yes — new Pro subscribers get a 7-day free trial at Starter-tier limits (30 ATS scans, 25 auto-applies, 20 cover letters). Your card is charged only after the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and pay nothing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. Cancel from your billing settings at any time — no penalty, no questions asked. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.

Can I switch between Starter and Pro?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Prorated credit is applied automatically by Stripe.

What counts as an ATS scan?

One scan = one resume scored against one job description. Auto-tailor and culture fit do not count toward your scan quota.

Is my resume data private?

Yes. Your resumes are stored encrypted and never shared with employers or third parties. We use them only to power your AI features.

Do I need a credit card for the free plan?

No. The free plan is completely card-free. You only provide payment info when upgrading.

What is the AI Career Consultant?

The AI Career Consultant is a Pro-only feature that gives you a personal AI advisor with five specialist agents: a Resume Coach, Interview Prep Coach, Job Match Advisor, Skill Advisor, and Career Strategy Coach. It runs a structured career-goal intake, then gives you a personalised plan. All sessions are saved so you can pick up where you left off.

What does the ATS Engine Simulator do?

The ATS Engine Simulator pipes your resume through five parser-specific rule sets — Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, and SmartRecruiters. Each engine has different quirks: some trip on tables, others on complex headers. The simulator shows you exactly which fields each parser extracts, where it fails, and what to fix. Available on Starter and Pro.

What is the ATS Resume Checker?

The ATS Resume Checker is a quick keyword-match and format audit. Paste your resume and a job description and get a score (0–100) broken down by keyword coverage (65%) and format quality (35%). Available on all plans — the free public tool at /ats-resume-checker does not require an account.

What is the Interview Simulator?

The Interview Simulator (Pro only) generates 6 role-specific questions personalised to your resume, skill gaps, and target JD. You answer each one and Claude scores your responses on four axes: structure, specificity, keyword alignment, and conciseness. You get an overall score, percentile, and per-answer coaching feedback.

What is the MCP Server?

The MCP Server lets you connect Hyrenora to Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop) so you can ask Claude questions grounded in your real career data — "find jobs matching my resume", "what skills am I missing?", "add this application to my tracker". Available on Starter and Pro plans. Starter unlocks data tools (profile, resume, jobs, skill gaps). Pro unlocks AI-powered tools like answer coaching and ATS scoring inside Claude.
